Grocery Shopping this week...

I haven't been out shopping too much this week and I haven't even looked at the Wed. ads until this morning, but I'm sitting here this morning with my list and coupons ready to go, and I thought I would share just a few of the deals that I found just going through the ads this morning. I hope by now you are convinced to start buying multiple copies of the Sunday paper, or are asking your friends and neighbors who don't use coupons to throw theirs your way. I found some great deals today using both coupons and just ad prices, and perhaps they will be good deals for you as well. Of course, there are many more deals to be found...these are just ones that stood out to me. As I looked today I was not only thinking of our grocery needs but also of my "shelter box" that I can fill up with food that I get at bargain prices! That way when it's time for your church or favorite charity to have a donation drive you don't have to spend a ton of money on things that were just on sale last week! I'm also thinking ahead to the holidays and things that are great to have on hand for occasions that may arise.

I'm going to divide them by store since that's what works for me. Generally I just shop at one store that matches ads, but I need to know where to find the ad in the first place!

No Frills
Pillsbury Crescent and Cinnamon Rolls for .99! Plus, I have several coupons for .35 off, so I can buy three at just .65 a piece. (by the way, you can print this coupon out here)
Keebler Townhouse crackers $2 I have a coupon for $1 off 2 so that will be $1.50/box.

Hy-Vee
They have a coupon in their ad (page 9 of their main ad) for $5 off several different Smucker's products with the purchase of 10. One of the products is Pillsbury cake mix for .88. If you do the math, by purchasing 10 you will spend .38 a box! That's great to have on hand and throw in your donation box.

Super Saver
Hey, I know we don't like to feed our kids Spaghettios, but please tell me I'm not the only one who whips these out on desperate occasions! If you are a secret Spaghettio-feeder like me, they are on sale this week for .57!
And as long as you are buying Spaghettios, you may as well pick up a few boxes of Kraft mac and cheese for .48.

Bakers
MILK FOR $2.50!!!
Also, they have this deal where if you purchase 10 of a set of products, the price of each product is knocked down to anywhere from .50-$2.50. Their ad lists all the products, but these are what stood out to me:

With the purchase of 10, these will be .50 each:
*Carnation Evap. milk
*Swiss Miss Hot chocolate
*Quaker Rice Cakes
*Coast bar soap (think donation box!)

These will be $1:
*Kroger syrup
*Colgate toothpaste (plus, I have a .75 coupon, which makes it .25!) (Think donation)
*Right Guard deoderant
*Hefty One zip Freezer bags (quart size)

That gives you an idea. Check out their ad for all the deals.

Fareway
The biggest deal at Fareway is their Green Giant veggie steamers (12 oz) for .99. But I have a COUPON FOR $1! Which makes them FREE! See??? Start clipping coupons!

I'm off to go shopping!

which stores match ads?

The stores that match ads that I know of are Walmart, Super Saver, No Frills, and Fareway. Fareway only matches ads of stores in their close vicinity I think, and Super Saver you have to show them the ad. Walmart only needs to see the ad for price matching meat. But it works for any produce or meat, as well as name brand items that are on sale.

Thank you!! Can I hire you for my personal shopper? This is great, you gave me a few "deals" I overlooked going through the ads last night.
